Thursday, March 17, 2011 – Between 2 April and 12 May 2010, the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications, by means of its territorial divisions of Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi and Timisoara, organises the ordinary examination session for the persons who wish to achieve the certificates of radioamateur and, respectively, of radio operator in the land mobile service. ANCOM grants the certificates following an examination, structured in two ordinary sessions, in the months of April and October each year, and organised by its regional divisions. The examination sessions for the certificates of radio operator in the land mobile service will be taken as follows: on 2 April 2011 in Iasi, on 12 and 13 April 2011 in Bucharest, on 10 and 11 May 2011 in Timisoara, and on 12 May 2011 in Cluj. The examinations for the radioamateur certificates will be held on 5 and 6 April in Bucharest, on 9 April in Iasi and Cluj, and on 12 April in Timisoara. (Details…)
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 – The President of ANCOM, Mr. Cătălin Marinescu, and the Minister of Communications and Information Society, Mr. Valerian Vreme, signed at the Ministry’s headquarters the Non-reimbursable Financing Contract for the creation of the online application enabling the end-users to compare between the electronic communications offers. “ANCOM has been eagerly waiting for this moment. For us, the contract signing equals the beginning of a project we have been working on for several years and responds to a need the end-users expressed countless times: i.e. to compare easy and fast the offers existing on the market in order to be able to make a choice well informed and best suited to a certain person’s communication needs”, the President of ANCOM stated on this occasion. The obtained non-reimbursable financing amounts to 886,198.32 lei and was awarded following the ANCOM submission of a project within the Sectoral Operational Programme “Increase of Economic Competitiveness”.
